America
I am here, here am I. I am at SLAC and not actually doing much work at the moment... I will start tomorrow, honest. Well, I did do a presentation last Tuesday (at 6am no less) so I have done something. And there were meetings... and training... and, well, faffing to be done.
But hey. All that has gone now and I can concentrate on the LO phase adjustment... Don't ask.
My place is rather nice. And here I will cut and paste from emails.
You enter. There is a small kitchen to your right. Large fridge-
bigger than any fridge I have ever seen and it is all mine. Sink and
drying rack and gas cooker. No working surfaces alas. But there is a
breakfast bar (with two suede covered stools) that I can use. On the
other side of the breakfast bar and straight ahead as you walk in is
the living room. Black two seater sofa with two cream cushions in
front of a small white table with a large candle on it. The sofa is
facing the wooden shelving that holds the tv (free cable, about 100
channels). Half way down this room are some white curtains that are
currently open but can be closed to separate the living room from the
bedroom (living area from bed area I should say as everything has all
been in the same room so far). The bed is a double with a creamy white
quilt and large pillows that match. Sort of sharing the living and bed
areas is a small wooden table with chairs and a vase of lillies.
Okay... there are two more rooms. One is just a closet, storage room.
It just has cuboards and shelving. The other is the bathroom. Small
sink, toilet and shower. Can't really say much for those rooms...
Is that enough?
I have spidey magnets on my fridge door.
My place is called chezbob by the way.
Why am I having problems posting this entry?
